The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released a notification inviting online applications from highly qualified Indian candidates for the position of TGT Punjabi, falling under Group-C Services. This recruitment drive offers 104 vacancies across various categories. As per the official notification, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in Punjabi as an elective or Honours subject, and as a teaching subject in BTC/JBT/D.Ed. (Diploma in Education)/Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.).

OR

Possession of an integrated BA.B.Ed. (4 years
course) with at least 50% marks in Punjabi subjects.

OR

Possession of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a minimum of 50% in Punjabi as an elective or honors subject, and Punjabi as a teaching subject in a bachelor's degree in education (B.Ed.) or a bachelor's degree in education (special education), as per the National Council for Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, which are periodically updated in this regard.

OR

Possession of a Bachelor’s in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.) of 4 years with at least 50% marks in Punjabi subjects.


Proficiency in Hindi or Sanskrit as one of the subjects in Matric, or Hindi as one of the subjects in Higher Education.


Possession of a valid certificate for having qualified Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET)/School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) in Punjabi subject.

Age Limits: 

Candidates applying for this post must fall within the age range of 18 to 42 years. Reserved category candidates (SC, ST, OBC, ESM, etc.) are eligible for age relaxation as per government norms.


Remuneration: 

Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary in accordance with the pay scale of Rs.9300‐34800, along with a grade pay of Rs.4600.


Application Fee: 

The application fee structure for HSSC Recruitment 2023 is as follows:

General Candidates: Rs.150

General Female Candidate of Haryana: Rs.75

SC/EWS/BC candidates of Haryana (Male): Rs.35

SC/EWS/BC candidates of Haryana (Female): Rs.18


Selection Process: 

Eligible candidates will be assessed based on a written examination, which holds 95% weightage in the selection process. Additionally, socio-economic criteria and experience will contribute 5% towards the overall evaluation.
